Statement from Board Chairman

The relevance and significant contribution of our Urban League of Middle Tennessee is our capacity to leverage corporate and personal relationships in our community, throughout the State, and across the country to advance the priorities and opportunities to affect positive change in race relations in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Nashville must continue to support and participate in this community based delivery of services. We are in compliance with all governing and financial obligations. And we are poised for solvency and ready to move ahead in advancing the mission of organization.

We are now looking to increase our capacity for programming and services that meet the needs of our constituents in Middle Tennessee. We want to build on our capacity to move individuals from poverty to financial solvency and to position our young people for academic success while preparing them for work in a global market place.
