The Urban League Young Professionals of Middle Tennessee (ULYPMT) is a network of young professionals ages 21-40 committed to empowering their communities and change lives through the ULMT movement. Our Urban League Young Professionals of Middle Tennessee support communities across Middle Tennessee by preparing young people for school, work and life, promoting civic engagement, financial self-sufficiency, and advocating for civil rights.

The ULYPMT educates, develops and prepares millennials and GenXers for leadership roles. Additionally, it offers opportunities for emerging leaders to participate in professional development programs, philanthropy, and civic engagement.  The ULYPMT has built itself into a movement.

Volunteer with the Guild

Urban League Guild is an auxiliary volunteer group that supports the Urban League of Middle Tennessee. Throughout its history, the Guild has stimulated, developed, and promoted volunteer advocacy. The work continues today - empowering communities and changing lives.

Guild volunteers – aka “Guilders” – are the heart and soul of the ULMT movement, contributing hundreds of volunteer hours each year and fulfilling a pivotal role in connecting ULMT's mission to the communities we serve. Guild members act as tutors and mentors, helping community members develop leadership skills and engage them in the issues that shape their lives. Also, Guilders raise funds for ULMT and act as goodwill community

ambassadors for the ULMT.
