Nashville State Community College and the Davidson County American Job Center Partner

Nashville State Community College and the Davidson County American Job Center have partnered to host four 45-minute virtual information sessions with questions and answers via Zoom.

The objective of these free sessions is to provide awareness and assistance to those in the Metro Nashville area who are seeking gainful employment, as well as academic credentials, industry certification, and/or professional development needed to be competitive in the labor market.

American Job Center (AJC) will discuss

  • Procedures access to

  • Business and industry open job opportunities

  • How to access funding for training and education

Nashville State will discuss

  • Admissions/registration process to enroll at Nashville State

  • Financial Aid/FAFSA process and Tennessee Reconnect

  • Career Services benefits for students

  • Nashville State Industry Degree and Certificate specific topics

The sessions are broken down by four industry sectors:

  1. Business Management and Hospitality

  2. Engineering and Computer Technology

  3. Social and Behavioral Sciences

  4. Healthcare Professions
