TRAINING
PREFERRED PARTNERS NETWORK (PPN)
The Preferred Partners Network (PPN) is an exclusive network of approved commercial and industrial trade allies. PPN members are experts in their field, provide sound advice on energy solutions, install efficient energy equipment and guide participants through the process of applying for incentives throughout the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) service area under TVA's EnergyRight for Business & Industry Programs.

TVA requires that every PPN Member has, and maintains, a good credit rating. If a D&B number cannot be supplied, then two (2) years of the company's tax returns will be required. D&B numbers are reviewed annually for each PPN Member.

CUSTOMER REFERENCES
Provide customer references from the past two years.
INSURANCE

Provide proof of current insurance coverage including, but not limited to, general liability, worker’s compensation and auto insurance.

BUSINESS LICENSE
Submit a valid current business license.

QUALITY CONTRACTOR NETWORK (QCN)
A member of the Quality Contractor Network is a vetted, trained contractor who performs energy upgrades through TVA's Residential Services programs. The program is supported through TVA and your local power company.
QCN REQUIREMENTS
LICENSING

Members of the Quality Contractor Network must have been in business for at least one year and must maintain an up-to-date business license to retain membership.
TRAINING

Contractors must attend an in-person orientation session to receive training on Green Connect quality guidelines, performance requirements and program rules.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Quality Contractor Network members shall maintain their business, employees, and subcontractors in a way that is compliant with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participating installers shall comply with all TVA quality guidelines, membership and performance requirements, participation criteria, rules and instructions generally applicable to Quality Contractor Network members.
INSURANCE

Quality Contractor Network members must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability insurance. Members must also carry worker's compensation insurance that meets minimum coverage as required by state law; if a contractor is exempt from worker's compensation insurance requirements, they must provide written acknowledgement from the state where exempt.

3 YEAR STRATEGIC GROWTH
ACTION PLAN TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
A limited number of business owners will be selected for the 2021 Next Level Program. The program consists of 14 sessions over 7months, alongside a cohort of other small business owners, culminating in a comprehensive customized 3-year Strategic Growth Action Plan.

NEXTLEVEL NASHVILLE
NextLevel Nashville is a program of the Tennessee Urban League Affiliates and the Urban League of Middle Tennessee in collaboration with Tennessee Valley Authority and Interise. It is the highly acclaimed "Streetwise MBA", a hands-on executive education program for small business owners, providing the business knowledge, management know-how, and the networks needed to grow.
