For participating youth ages 14-24, SYEP provides valuable work experiences in safe, productive work environments while offering career exploration opportunities that help in defining and determining career interests, all while getting paid to participate!

The maximum wage payment is $3,200 per youth participant, ages 16-24.  This is determined using the following information: working up to 8 weeks at a maximum of 25 hours per week (students ages 14-15 will work a maximum of 6 weeks) at a pay rate of up to $16 per hour.
